statement

In the wake of an unfathomable tragedy—the loss of my youngest child to suicide in the summer of 2022—my art became both a sanctuary and a lifeline. As I navigated grief, my work in stained glass began to receive recognition, emerging alongside devastation as an unexpected source of light. These parallel experiences—grief and creative growth—led me to rebuild with deep intention.

My practice is rooted in the belief that art can hold space for healing, reflection, and transformation. Using light, color, and glass, I create immersive environments that invite stillness, presence, and connection. Each panel is a facet of my heart—an acknowledgment of sorrow, and a quiet reminder that even in the midst of darkness, beauty persists.

My work is not just about what’s seen, but what’s felt. It’s an invitation to pause, to reflect, and to remember that every life—and every choice—matters.
