Carrie Grey is a nationally recognized contemporary stained glass artist celebrated for her bold use of color, strong architectural lines, and abstract compositions that capture both the precision of geometry and the fluidity of nature. Her work transforms light into a living medium, creating immersive experiences that shift with the day and invite personal reflection.

Her art has been showcased across the Pacific Northwest in prominent galleries and exhibitions, including Seattle Glassblowing Studio, CORE Gallery, Lynn Hanson Gallery, and Gray Sky Gallery. She is a two-term member of the Washington State Public Artist Roster (2023–2025, 2025–2029) and was recently selected for the Sound Transit Artist Candidate Pool (2025), affirming her role in shaping public spaces with enduring beauty and cultural resonance. Featured in Luxe Interiors + Design and the SGAA Quarterly, her work has also been a highlight of Seattle’s REFRACT festival, where her studio welcomed the public in 2022 and 2023.

In the winter of 2024, Carrie and her creative partner (a Bernese Mountain Dog named Arlo) opened Kiki’s Satellite, a pop-up stained glass studio in Tillamook, Oregon, where she sold her remaining panels and donated her furnishings to Habitat for Humanity—a decisive step toward a philosophy of simple living. Now working with renewed focus and creative freedom, she continues to accept select commissions, teach stained glass at NW Art Glass, and develop new series for exhibitions planned in 2026.

Carrie’s public art practice is guided by the belief that beauty and symbolism in shared spaces can foster connection, contemplation, and community identity. Whether through intricate standalone panels or large-scale site-specific installations, her stained glass serves as both anchor and beacon—transforming everyday spaces into places of magic.
